This is a research project that reflects on the role of images in defining the narrative around reconverted industrial spaces and how these new histories that they help create shape collective memory and are interesected with class dynamics and the politics of
image presence.
I used my own pictures of the Maasilo, an event venue in Rotterdam that once was a grain silo, both during the opening times and when is closed and mixed them through collages with the few repertoire images that I could find of the building when still in his original function.
